Mayor Pro-Tempore & City Councilman of Farmers Branch, Texas
Not Clearly Pro or Con to the question "Should the Government Allow Immigrants Who Are Here Illegally to Become US Citizens?"
"I look at illegal immigration this way. If one person runs a red light and the police see him run it, it is easy to enforce the law. If several million run red lights, it doesn’t make it okay for everyone that is running them to get a free pass just because so many are doing it. It is still wrong. If our laws are difficult to enforce because of the number of people breaking them, we should look at new ways to enforce them, not change them because they are difficult to enforce."
